| BBB Adds Eight New Board Members |
Worcester, MA – – October 24, 2014 – – The Better Business Bureau of Central New England (BBB) is pleased to announce the results of the 2014 Officers and Board of Directors Election that took place at BBB’s Annual Meeting on October 15th.Eight incumbents and eight new members were elected to serve on the BBB of Central New England Board of Directors. Newly elected for one-year terms expiring in 2015 were Alfred H. Colonna, Jr., Kevin Coughlin, DMD, Jeff Johnson, Michael Monahan, Rick Porter, Ger Ronan, and Candi Wolfe. Re-elected for 2-year terms expiring in 2016 were Andrew Oleksak and Shaunna Schiller. Re-elected for 3-year terms expiring in 2017 were Stephan C. Chase, Joseph P. Miller, Richard Powell, Angela Rocheleau, Rod Sitterly and Peter Stanton.The following directors were elected to serve as officers on the Board of Directors for the 2014-2015 term:
Henry Camosse, Jr. of Camosse Masonry Supply, Inc. will continue to serve as past chairman. The Board of Directors includes 25 business leaders from Central and Western Massachusetts who share BBB’s vision for an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. The responsibilities of the BBB Board of Directors include determining the mission and purpose of the BBB, providing financial oversight, ensuring legal and ethical integrity, approving businesses for accreditation, and strengthening the BBB’s programs and services. “The board plays an important role in helping to guide the BBB. These leaders possess experience across various industries and bring a wealth of knowledge;” said Nancy B.
